As a busy mom of three amazing girls, a wrangler of three fur babies, and a proud military spouse currently working as a Patient Advocate for Sentara, I know all too well the reality of trying to get healthy and longevity. Before becoming your fitness coach, I wore a different uniform – the one of a law enforcement officer. After years of juggling motherhood, surgeries, menopause, and the constant stress of the job, I found myself lost in a cycle of weight gain and discouragement. But I knew I wasn't alone. I saw countless other people, just like you, feeling overwhelmed.
That's when I embarked on my own health and wellness journey. I discovered the power of movement, not just for my body, but for my mind and soul. I learned to embrace the good days, focused on living longer and healthier which helped me lose 120 pounds. During this time I gained formal education and national certifications teaching exercise techniques, nutrition, supplements, how the body operates and stress relief methods while rediscovering my strength and confidence. Gaining more experience in the industry, I worked with a weight loss and hormone provider as the clinical manager where I helped dozens of people build a healthier relationship with food and exercise.
I would consider it an honor to work with you as your nutritionist, personal trainer, health coach and support system as you begin your journey. My goal is to help each of you live longer and happier by incorporating exercise and adjusting nutrition needs while having fun.
